At the Hideaway, it is not compulsory to have a patch test. This is because
Patch tests only apply a small amount of adhesive, which might not trigger a reaction. However, a full set uses significantly more glue and reactions can still occur days or even weeks later- even if the patch test was clear.
True allergic reactions to lash glue are rare. Most sensitivities come from fumes or improper aftercare, not the product itself- which a patch test won’t necessarily prevent.
However, if you feel more comfortable by having a patch test, then feel free to ask and we will happily do one.

These treatments use dyes or chemicals that can cause allergic reactions. A patch test 24–48 hours before your appointment helps ensure you don’t experience irritation, redness or swelling.

Brow Waxing

Every 2 to 3 weeks is the perfect time for most clients.
Why? Because:
Your natural lashes shed every day (we lose about 2–5 lashes per eye daily).
After 2–3 weeks, you'll likely have lost enough extensions that your lash line starts to look a bit sparse or uneven.
Infills help replace lost extensions, maintain fullness, and keep your lashes looking fresh.
What Affects How Often You’ll Need Infills:
Your natural lash growth cycle
Aftercare (avoiding oil-based products, not rubbing your eyes, etc.)
Lifestyle (e.g. if you swim often, use saunas or sleep on your face)
Extension type (classic vs hybrid vs volume)

You can safely get a lash lift and tint every 6 to 8 weeks.
Why Wait 6–8 Weeks?
Your natural lash cycle needs time to complete - this ensures the new growth can be lifted evenly.
Doing the treatment too soon can over process or damage your lashes, making them dry or brittle.
Tinting lasts around 3–4 weeks, while the lift can last up to 6–8 weeks, depending on your lash type and aftercare.
